Power Skating Skills

If you can’t skate, you can’t play .High-level instruction focusing on advanced techniques, balance, stride and recovery, edge control and agility. The program will also offer agility training. Our Agility Skating class is different from our Power Skating program as it focuses specifically on a player’s ability to balance on his or her skates and perform quick movements in small spaces. This segment of the course will centre on cross-overs, tight-turns, transition skating, acceleration, lateral movement, and overall quick feet combined with developing offensive techinques such as shooting, passing, and puck control. These are not Learn to Skate settings. These programs are designed to FURTHER ENHANCE the hockey player’s skating ability.
