• Please be sure to label all of your belongings
• Non-marking, indoor foot wear
• Ensure that you have completed and submitted all registration and medical information updated on our system prior to the first day of camp.

We must have all medical information put into our system before your child attends camp. We can do this over the phone or in person.  This provides us with information to help your child’s camp experience be a positive one.

All campers must be signed in upon arrival, and signed out upon departure, from camp by their parent or guardian. For campers ages 10 & over, please provide a written note to your leader if alternate arrangements are to be made.

Campers are reminded to bring plenty of healthy snacks and a big lunch to camp every day unless your child is on our meal plan. Please send your camper with a labeled water bottle that can be refilled throughout the day. We are unable to refrigerate or heat lunches.

The registration fee covers all busing and admissions costs.  Although we will make every effort to ensure all trips run as scheduled, we cannot guarantee that cancellations won’t occur. In the event of a cancellation we will attempt, but cannot guarantee to reschedule an alternative date and time. There will be no reduction in the program fee as a result of changes to the schedule.

We cannot ensure an allergen free environment. We are, however, AWARE when we are notified that a child in camp has an allergy. We encourage parents to pack allergen free snacks and lunches for the safety of all campers and/or share spaces.

We ask that all toys, electronics, or sentimental items, which could cause distraction or conflict amongst campers to be left at home. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

To ensure that all campers have the opportunity to play and grow in a positive space, we cannot tolerate negative camper conduct. Campers will be informed of our positive space policy and it will be applied equitably to all situations. It is our intent that this system will allow our campers to feel comfortable and secure during their time at Camp, while reinforcing respect for themselves and others.

Our day camp staff and volunteers are legally obligated to observe the terms of the Ontario Child and Family Services Act and must report a child in need of protection.

Any person wishing to visit Rhino Sports and Playland outside of regular drop-off (7:30 – 9:00 am) & pick-up (4:00 – 6:00 pm) hours MUST notify the Program Supervisor ahead of the visitation by contacting Rhino Sports and Playland at 613-969-6564.
